Capital Securities Co., Ltd. is the first Taiwanese securities firm authorized by the People's Bank of China to set up a representative office in Mainland China. The CSC International Holdings Ltd.-Shanghai Representative Office was officially established in November 1997.Currently the office employs industry researchers and capital market operation staff to provide various capital market and industry analysis for the needs of the head office. The CSC Holdings Shanghai Representative Office obtained the license to act as a special offshore member in the Shanghai Stock Exchange on March 3rd, 2003, and on June 20 of the same year, it was authorized to be a special offshore member of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
